200g cocoa chocolate or dairy free chocolate
1/2 unsalted dairy free butter
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 teaspoons egg replacer
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup cocoa nibs or dairy free chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 180°C. Break up the chocolate. And in a double boiler add the butter and chocolate. If you don’t have a double boiler, use a pot with water and allow it to boil and place another bowl on top to melt the butter and chocolate together. Keep stirring while it all melts. Then add the cocoa powder to the melted chocolate. Then set aside and allow to cool.
In a separate bowl mix together the sugar, salt, vanilla extract and your egg replacer. The one I’m using uses 3 tsp egg replacer to 6 tbsp water. Whisk together and then add the felted chocolate mixture. Mix well and then add the flour and mix.
Prepare your baking tin. We line the bottom with brown paper and use fry lite around the sides.
Add your mixture to your tin and bake for 35-40 minutes .
Once it is ready and you remove it from the over let it cook for about 2 hours.
Once cool we going to repeat the melting process we did at the beginning. To a double boiler add 1 cup of cocoa nibs or chocolate chips and 2 tables spoons dairy free butter. Melt together .
Then add the sliced strawberries onto the brownies and pour the melted chocolate on top of the strawberries. Then cut into pieces .
